Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

basically, percy jackson the game was kind of- well the book was better. all you do is touch the place you need to go and battle when you need to. the best part is the battle. i recommednd renting this before buying it. if you like it, do the oblivious and buy it. i didn't.

The battle system is chunky, needing fine tuning. The sound is just bad, but that may just be the DS's speakers. There isn't much to do here. If you like Pokemon's battle system and hate the movement via foot and bicycle, you haven't read the book and you haven't watched the movie, don't care about horrid graphics, then this is most certainly the game for you! (maybe).

This game is the best game ever.Books are absolutly the best serious ever. Movie the best ever the game is AWSOME PERCY JACKSON ROCKS

Graphics- They looked a lot like little cardboard people moving. The movement was chunky and laggy. The people very well could have been pieces of paper. <br />Game-play- Again it sucks. Absolutely no challenge. It was like some 3 year-old had designed it so that you pretty much couldn't die and you just tell the enemies to die an they would sort of fall down. <br />Story- This part just made me angry. Normally I don't care about video game story lines unless its Zelda but I'm a Percy Jackson junkie. I've read the lightning thief at least 11 times(no joke) so when the movie came out I just had to see it. But it sucked. Annabeth being combined with Clarisse was the last straw. I left half way through. but then i came back. But it just got worse and worse! When the game game out i was hold on with that last bit of hope that they might make up for it with a great game(It's happened before with the golden compass), but naturally the story in the game just got worse. Percy can't wear the flying shoes! So basically all I have to say about this game in general is only rent if you haven't read the books,haven't seen the movies, don't now a single thing about Greek mythology, and love horrible games.

This game was a game i was going to buy for my ds. I was sooooo glad i didn't! It's a bit like pokemon but pokemon is much better. I loved the book, liked the movie, and hated the game.

I got this game because I LOVE the books. It is EXACTLY like the movie but super boring! Unless you have never read the books and like the movie ALOT, I would definitely NOT play this game!!!!!!
