Get your slick black suit ready. Join some of the most infamous gangsters in movie history for a diamond heist gone wrong in this gritty Reservoir Dogs game. Play from the perspective of each character in a non-chronological storyline filled with Quentin Tarantino's trademark style, wit, and violence. See how close you are to going over the edge with the Psycho/Professional Rating System that monitors your moral decisions. Control civilians using the non-lethal Threat System and the adrenaline fueled tactics of the Bullet Festival. The game boasts the same super '70s soundtrack as the movie, as well as star Michael Madsen, who lends his voice and likeness to Mr. Blonde.

So five minutes ago...
With throwback film inspired games having come out like 'From Russia with Love' and 'Scarface' I had expected a cult fav like RD to be a real piece of work. How wrong I was, although its a piece of something all right. The game is nothing but a handful of games belonging in 2003 mangled together with a snappy soundtrack. Its an extremely low rent version of True Crime or Max Payne in the early years of the genre, while not coming close to their originality. Surprised to see the title come into the video game market, and even more so that its just so bad. If Quentin signed off on the game, he should be forced to play it as penance. What's next? A 'Pulp Fiction' RPG where Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace carbon copy 'Dance Dance Revolution' for the Jack Rabbit Slim's Twist Contest trophy? Do yourself a favor, stuff it back in the mailbox, put up the flag, and forget ever adding it to your Q.

Reservoir Dogs = Good
Upon hearing that a game was made of this classic movie, i immediately set out to get my hands on it.

I was not disappointed with this game. I highly recommend this game to fans of the movie series. Those who are not familiar with the movie, you should go out and watch it so that you can get more from your gaming experience.

Throughout the game you play as the different chracters of the movie Reservoir Dogs and you play out their experiences on that fateful day that they gathered together to rob a bank. Many quotes from the movie are present and plenty of cussing. If you want a clean game, this is not for you.

The controls were easy to pick up. The AI is pretty good and this game definately is a challenge to master.

Reservoir Dogs is an excellent game. I liked how the people who put this game together filled in blanks of what each character was doing at a certain time. I'm sure a lot of this may have been made up just for the game, but it was well done.

No game is without its drawbacks. There came a point while i was playing through the early part of the game when i said to myself "I'm just doing the same thing over and over". However my frustration with the game faded away as i learned to understand how the AI works and as i got a grip on the controls and what i can and cannot do in the game.

Another flaw was the rating systam of each level. Depending on how much of a professional or psychopath you are, you get a rating at the end of each chapter. These add up somehow (I had no instruction manual) to give you an overall rating. In the end this rating is supposed to unlock a few cheats for you to activate, biut i didn'g get any! I must have done something wrong, but i was a little disappointed.

The replay value is there and has you going through each level handling things differently or looking for hidden objects.

Great game overall, but i give it a 7 out of 10. A MUST for fans of Tarantino and his works.

could of been better
to mush like Mafia had to stick with the story line. and if you got stuck, you sucked. it would go all the way back to the beginning, that sucks, all that time sitting there so you could start all over again.

Best Movie Game Ever!!!
Of all the Movies that they made games of this was the best no question. I give this game a 10 because I personally loved the movie and was hoping that the game wouldn't be as dumb as the other movie games and it proved me wrong. I don't know why the average gamefly rating is 5.6 because it should at least be a 8 or 9. This game gave me everything that I was looking for in this game and I hope others play this game and will feel the same.

Reservior Dogs
Thought Id give this game a chance and it was an absolute waste of time. Half of the stages were in the same bland "warehouse" and you tell me how I can unload 2 clips of a semi-automatic weapon and the person still lives? But as soon as I take someone hostage they end up dieing in my arms...common now. Not only was the gameplay boring and repetitive the driving levels were an insult my intelligence. I dont think there was one thing enjoyed about this game except maybe the voice acting. Oh and one more thing, I beat it in about 3 hours..that should say enough.

Kind of repetitive
It took me only a couple of sessions to play through as a professional. Then I replayed it as a psycho in about 3 hours.

Not enough gameplay. The movie references were cool but repetitive too.

Good movie, terrible game
There are so many things wrong with this title that I don't think I could possibly sit here and tell you all of them. I will instead, tell you some of the major flaws in Eidos's Reservoir Dogs. For one, the graphics are just horrible no matter which console you play the game on; this game doesn't even begin to use the xbox to its full potential. The main characters look nothing like their movie counterparts and the animation is just plain bad.

The whole concept of using hostages to aid in your escape seems like a good idea at first, but after a while the hostages seem less like an advantage and more like a hindrance. Many of the stages in Reservoir Dogs require you to cover a lot of ground and doing so while holding a hostage is a slow clumsy process.

Another problem with this title is the repetitive gameplay; the game really only consists of two types of missions, the ones where you escape the police on foot and the ones where you escape by car, with neither one being much fun. The game is also very short, but trust me this is a good thing.

Overall Reservoir Dogs is just another case of developers throwing together a game and then slapping a movie title onto it with the hopes of getting fans of the movie to buy the game. The problem with that is, I was a fan of the movie which is why I was even more disappointed after playing the game. This is definitely a title that both fans of the film and newcomers alike will want to pass on.
