Splinter cell chaos theory 10/10
Splinter cell chaos theory is one of the best PS2 games that has come out on the console in it's existence. I rate this game a 10 out of 10. Anyone who has a Playstation 2 should buy this game because it is now a greatest hit and it's only 20 doallars. It is by far the best Tom Clancy game and the best out of the series.

This game is not for you if you like to run in and blow everything up.It takes alot of sneaking around, almost to a point where it gets boring, but if you stay with it you will enjoy it!!!

You Are Sam Fisher...You Are a BadMOFO
Wow...This May be the best ever Tom Clancy game. Lets Start with the Graphics, some of the best i've seen in a TC game, the only flaw is the Face models, they're were only what 3 different models I never knew so many Merceneries were twins...lol. Great Story not 2 short, and very cool multiplayer features. Controls work fluid but until you get in a fire fight, your gettin popped 20 bullets into you and your still tryin to fire when your in a fire fight no matter how long you hold R1 until your enemy reloads Sam hesitates. Thats the main reason for gettin a 9. But other than that the game is great overall. Now all we can do is wait for Sam to return as a Bad Mother-Shut yo mouth in Spinter Cell: Double Agent in Stores September 6!!! Enjoy!!

Great single player but lacking multiplayer
The single player experience in this game is great. Staying true to Splinter Cell roots, stealth is rewarded while going ballistic gets you killed. Patience is key in this game so if you're not one who likes to wait for the right moment to strike, or can't stand to walk very slowly, this game may not be right for you. But if you enjoy stealth attacks, snipping, and generally being sneaky, you'll love this game. I haven't purchased this game yet but am strongly considering adding it to my collection. The only serious drawback I found was that the multiplayer was terrible compared to the XBox version. I guess the differences in CPU or memory between the consoles was the deciding factor. Regardless, this was a huge disappointment to me having played XBox multiplayer with a friend. I want the same multiplayer experience on my PS2! I don't know how the single player campaign was different from the XBox version, if at all, but I do know that the mid-map load screens on large campaign maps was slightly annoying. I knocked it from a 9 to an 8 because of the mid-map load screens and split-screen multiplayer not being on par with the XBox. Also, while the videos for this game show all kinds of cool moves like dropping down onto opponents, shimmying up walls in a narrow corridor, etc, actual game play has very few opportunities for these really cool moments.

Best Splinter Cell game to date.
This is game any gamer will enjoy, because there are multiple ways to play the game. Stealth action is always fun but you can play it as a shooter which adds more depth and quality to the game. Chaos Theory has a compelling realistic story that flushes out Sam's character even more than before. You will visit exotic locations like Hokkaido, Seoul, and even New York City. The graphics are well done and Sam is very well equipped with the coolest gagdets and weapons you will ever see.

The multiplayer is fun and engaging. It will keep you hooked for quite a while. There is also a coop mode which is a side story to the single player experience.

My only complaints are that the coop missions are short and some of the environments are very dark which may force you to play at night due to the glare.

Nevertheless, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is a solid title that will keep you coming back day after day.

GreAT gAMe!!!!! but coop stinks
splinter cell 3 is a great game with the graphics and some of the new gadgets, but i don't like that they left out one or two gadgets from the first one. The coop stinks because you don't get to do allot of things like in one player. and its more realistic than the first one, because you don't climb on poles as much, and you have a sound meter, and well that's about it.

Patience is Key.
I've played SC: Pandora Tommorow and when I rented this game, I obviously expected more. The thing is, I think this game is different from it's predecessor. This time you're able to go up to 5 alarms before ending the mission. I don't know much about the alarm system because I always managed to keep myself at 0 alarms.

This game obviously needs alot of Patience. Patience is Key. I am right now stuck in Level 4 which occurs in New York City and I gave this game back, not because I didn't like it. But I gave it back because I've been dying to play Formula One for PS3. I would beat this game no doubt, but it would take me atleast a week to beat this game. As I've said before this game takes alot of patience.

The main thing I like about Splinter Cell is the freedom to neutralize your targets however you want to - you can do different moves, you can either be stealthy or use the assault option - which would decrease your overall mission result in the end. But again, it all depends on what you think is fun.

Controls are quite good. People complain about the PS2 graphics, I think they are fine, not magnificent but fine. The storyline is quite good, I didn't uncover what actually happened, but at Level 04, you still don't understand what's going on. The game promises a good suspense but obviously you have to beat it to know it (which I have not done yet)

Overall this game is good, although you might find yourself using your OCP (which neutralizes cameras and lights for 15 seconds) most of the time to bypass the levels but you can use your alternatives like the sticky camera - which is pretty good. So far I've only used it once.

Unlike Pandora tommorow, this game has opportunity missions which is an alternative, solely depends on whether you want to do it or not but again it effects your result. So entirely, the game gives you alot of freedom to do whatever you want but it also awards you on how limited you keep yourself.

If you're an avid Splinter Cell fan, Buy it.
