OK but needs work
First off, I got over the tedious back and forth, and fairly cheap mechanics, I started enjoying the game...after 6+ hours of game play, however, the game froze, and when I restarted it up, my saved game data was corrupted and I lost the entire game...talk about frustrating.
Game needs:
better saved game data/options/etc
Better, more Improved mechanics, game felt a bit sluggish, and has no options for quest switching for side quests.
I really wanted to like this game, but after losing my game data to corruption after all the leveling up and grinding I did feels pointless...Definitely not good enough to be worthy of a repeat

Not as bad as it looks
It's actually not terrible. The trophies are easy, and gameplay isnt all terrible. Definitely not great though.

Surprise Gem
I know nothing about adventure time first off and it didn’t matter. The combat is extremely addicting and the missions are fun. It was very similar to South Park. I strongly recommend it. I played it so much I got a platinum trophy.

so much potential
Finn and jake mysteries while it being shorter than i would have liked i actually enjoyed. I wanted to enjoy this game i didnt even mind the fighting mechanic. But the story is boring and way too short and the side missions werent interesting enough to want to complete. The concept of an adventure time game thats open world could have been fantastic i mean who wouldnt want to explore the strange post apocalyptic land of ooo... But everything was rush i was excited for this game and i finished it in only a few days. At least the last game had an actual story and i enjoyed it. Im highly disappoibted especially since the ending of the series i was hoping for a finale game thats worthy of the amazing shows set off. I think where this one lacked the most was the use of characters which along with the world building and lore is adventure time's strength and we barely got anything notable even the main characters u play as didnt have enough screen time
Overrall wanted to like it failed to do so...only thing i will say is that the overrall look of the 3d characters is pretty good

The idea of the game sounded a lot better? Rental
Hearing about the game and then seeing some gameplay made me think this would be an rpg looter, then having it turn out to be a turn-based consumable fest really killed any actual excitement. Being able to upgrade the 4 characters who have their own leveling system and abilities got some of that back. Because in certain moments the game can actually be a grind so you can always be ready for the next encounter; but really the grind is just hitting the same regenerating objects over and over till you get a lot of coins. The voice actors were there which I didn’t expect but LSP’s sounds really off. I’m still going to try and play it though because it really gave me a jrpg feeling from Persona 5, and the content is there if you watch the show; I did hear that it’s only like 10 hours though. But that’s why GameFly is here!
