It's finally here! This epic open-world game is a new take on Nintendo's iconic fantasy series. You are Link, and your homeland of Hyrule is in ruins. Your quest is to discover the cause of the destruction and bring life back to the land. You'll travel through a huge open world, from high mountain peaks to dry hot deserts and any environment in between. There are over 100 Shrines of Trials to test your puzzle-solving skills, and you can complete them in any order you'd like. The landscape is rife with fantastic beasts - each will require a different strategy to defeat - so you'll have to be smart, quick, and prepared. For the first time ever, voice acting will be included. With its huge map, detailed crafting system, and amazing puzzles and encounters, Breath of the Wild rings in a new age of Zelda.

A Truly Great Open World Game
There was once a time when I thought that no Open-World RPG could ever touch Skyrim. Then this came along, Has probably the biggest open world I have ever seen, The graphics aren't as good as say, Horizon Zero Dawn but it has a style like a combination of Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, and Twilight Princess which makes it unique from other games. The framerate could be better but it doesn't get in the way of the gameplay. I have been playing on Wii U because I didn't preorder a Switch but it doesn't seem like the game looks or plays different from the Wii U version. Skyrim will always be one of my Top 5 games ever but this game comes close to matching it. This game deserves every 10/10 it gets plus the 98 on Metacritic. Overall 10/10

Great for Zelda fans
Anyone will like the open world and teams well with the gliding ability. The special abilities (not including gliding as one it's just an item.)Are great in my opinion. Now while others might compare it to Skyrim but I say it's to different to compare. It has the same combat as other Zelda games. The opened world is like Zelda twilight princess but more open and free.

Nintendo's Best Game They've Ever Made
This game went beyond my expectations, I was pretty hyped for the game but by how many times it was getting delayed I got kinda worried. Now, that it's out I've been playing it nonstop, I haven't done much of the main story but I'm very intrigued. I've been exploring mostly and have set a destination of where I want to go but, along the way I get sidetracked and go off course when I see something else interesting. I really recommend this game to anyone who is a Zelda fan or an RPG/adventure fan. I'm telling you this game will blow you away with how many things there are to do I haven't experienced anything wrong with it other than occasional frame rate drops. This is an absolute perfect game that deserves the praise it's getting, I hope you have as much fun in this game as I have so far. :)

Don't think it's a 10? You're CRAZY!!
OK, I can appreciate the initial gripe that some diehard Zelda fans would have. As a matter of fact, I had similar concerns when I first started the game. But then it hit me, I can go...anywhere, do...anything. I can climb mountains, swim lakes and rivers, there is no where that I cant explore, nothing to hold me back. It's like they just UNLEASHED Link! There are so many things that will make oldschool Zelda fans happy, familiar things that ring true to the iconic series origin. It's anything you've ever wanted from Zelda game. Not to mention the graphics, absolutely stunning. The active environment all around you is incredible. Those who aren't ranking this game a 10 may need mental help. And those who say the game is too hard (because it is far and away the hardest Zelda game you'll ever play) need to put on the controller and find another hobby. This game is a gamer's dream. Buy this game, thank me later...

Fallout and Zelda had a baby and its beautiful!!!
This game left me speechless, the advanced technology, the 120 mini dungeons (shrines) god i could talk for hours about this amazing game. They took the cell shading from Wind Waker but improved it and took the land of Hyrule from Twilight and made it 4 times bigger. I've made this recommendation before about a Zelda game on Gamefly, Rent it if you cant afford to buy it but if you can buy it DO because you could spend a minimum of 2 weeks playing this game to its full extent. Best 60$ i've spent in a long time. I would give it a rating of 100 if i could.

Great world, OK game.
The best part about this game is the world. Its beautifully crafted. If you like exploring just to explore, then this game is great. Everything else on the other hand is lacking. The combat is just ok. The whole game loop is just to increase your inventory, health and stamina until you're ready to beat the game. Nothing else matters because the game is really unrewarding because how fast everything breaks combined with how little you can hold. The story is as thin as a tweet. And finishing the game is very anti-climactic and overall disappointing.
